Our Management Team

Peter Aggleton, Managing Director

Peter is the Managing Director of SECOR Consulting. Peter has been improving clients' performance for over 25 years. For a significant amount of that time he has held particular focus on energy and utilities, and been responsible for the development of consulting and software solution teams for the sector. Peter has worked with a wide range of companies including: South West Water, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities, British Telecom, NYNEX, British Gas, Northern Electric and PowerGen.

Stephen Stead, Executive Director

With a computer science degree and an MBA from Manchester Business School, Stephen is able to effectively bridge the gap between businesses and IT. He has over ten years experience of customer management consultancy including detailed experience of customer relationship management, customer value management, customer capture, customer service, multi-service billing and credit and debt management. Within these areas of expertise, Stephen has a reputation for introducing innovative thinking and radical solutions.

John Evans, Partner Director, Communications

A Chartered Management Accountant with over 30 years experience in the telecoms sector, John has considerable experience of re-engineering network and customer management processes to meet customer, market and regulatory pressures. His focus for many years has been on improving the quality and accuracy of billing, customer care and associated systems as a part of which he has driven for billing to be recognised as a product capable of securing significant competitive advantage through innovative pricing strategies, information analysis and presentation. John assisted Oftel and BABT with the development of the UK Meter & Billing Approval Scheme, including the definition of the OTR:003 Standard. He subsequently led the BT team that achieved the first BABT Meter and Billing Approval for BTs voice frequency systems.

Nic Breese, Director

Nic Breese has 15 years of experience in the telecoms sector. In the past few years he has been particularly focused on telecommunications billing, consulting on solutions to mass-market billing, including the convergence of fixed and mobile bill production and customer management.

Helen Smith, Divisional Director

Helen has over 15 years' experience in the Communications and Energy and Utility sectors. As a Certified Practising Accountant and member of the Business Continuity Institute, Helen combines a commercial background with her considerable experience of delivering IS projects and programmes. Recently Helen has focused on strategies and solutions that enable clients to improve the performance of their key business processes, as well as the management and control of those processes.

Phil Wood, Non Executive Director, Energy and Utilities

Phil Wood has over 30 year’s experience of working in the utilities sector for large ‘blue chips’. After a formal accountancy training at Wessex Water, Phil joined Severn Trent Water in 1977, specializing in large scale customer billing, collection and contact management operations. Phil was ultimately appointed as Customer Management Director on the Executive Board of Severn Trent Utility Services Ltd and currently holds several Non Executive Directorships in Customer focused businesses.
