excessive exceptions and reduced bill quality, and hence billing delays, increased re-billing, increased cost-to-serve and reduced
customer satisfaction.
With the increased billing complexity necessitated in many sectors such as multi-play in communications and multi-service in
utilities the situation is only likely to get worse.
SECOR has provided specialist billing consultancy for many years to deal with exactly these issues; we have designed billing
systems, selected them, implemented them in Water, Energy, Communications and Finance. We have reviewed billing operations, undertaken
ASP billing feasibility studies, migrated customers between systems, outsourced their operation, and even developed 'pay as you go'
billing for insurance.
